As a medical research scientist with a special interest in herbal medicine, I have always been passionate about health and wellness. During my PhD studies, I suffered with chronic fatigue syndrome, leaky gut and chronic lower back pain. Western allopathic medicine had little to offer me and so my exploration of alternate remedies, complementary therapies and solutions began.

My healing process

Two things in particular provided a quantum leap in my healing process. These were:

  • Glyconutrients (nutritional support): Advanced Ambrotose from Mannatech shifted my physical energy from 8 hours to 18 hours per day in only 5 days.
  • Kinesiology: cleared the remaining food sensitivities such as wheat and dairy and assisted in the release of past physical and emotional trauma and injuries.

Supportive techniques included:

  • Posture Therapy: for back support.
  • Body Talk Access: an easy 10-minute daily programme to manage the flow of energy in the body.
  • Sheng Zhen Healing Qigong: releases impure chi (energy) from the body and keeps the heart open to receive.
  • Raja Yoga Meditation: provides an understanding of who we are eternally so that we can connect with our inner peace and maintain an internal sense of stability no matter what may be happening in the world around us.
